On Tuesday, March 6, 2012, the Village held a general election for 4 elected positions: Mayor, 2 Village Council seats, and Municipal Judge. This was a completely uncontested election. I was elected Mayor, Wayne Ake and Dolly Wallace were elected Village Councilors, and Lar Thomas was elected Municipal Judge. A big thank you to those of you that voted!
The next election will be two years from now, in March 2014. Two Council seats, currently held by Bill Kennedy and Russell Walkup, will be at stake.
